Marketing for Rising Star will be advertised through
Radio, TV, Newsprint and Internet. All contestants will send a CD
with one song , a picture, a bio and a $25.00 entry fee on or before
April 4, 2008 to the Patch Ministries Offices.
All CD entries are numbered to promote fairness and hide identity
of contestant during preliminary judging. All of the entries will
be reviewed by all 5 judges and will receive a rating/score card from
each judge. The top 15 scores in the adult division and top 15 scores
in the youth division will win the contestants an opportunity to perform
on opening night.
On April 25th, 2008 the 10 finalists will perform one songs each and
the judging will be conducted the same as on previous nights. However
on this night the results will be tallied live and we will award the
Grand Prize Package at the end of the night. We will have a headliner
act (TBA) to perform while the votes are being counted.
